APPLY NOW AND BE OUR NEXT NATIONAL COMMISSIONER, ADULT TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
With our current National Commissioner, Adult Training and Development (NCATD), Paul Parkiinson, concluding his term on 30 November 2012, there is a requirement for a senior volunteer to assume the NCATD role from 1 December 2012.
Applications are invited from suitably experienced and motivated people, desirous of leading Scouts Australia’s dynamic Adult Development Program. Initial appointment will be for a three year period with the possibility of a three year extension - subject to mutual agreement.
This person will also be the Principal of Scouts Australia Institute of Training (SAIT) and hence is expected to have appropriate tertiary qualifications and considerable management experience. The person reports to the Chief Commissioner of Australia and has a small number of direct reports.
The part time professional staff work from the Brisbane Office of SAIT whilst the two Deputy Heads (a) Adventurous Activities and (b) Academic, are also Queensland based. Phil Harrison assumes the role of Deputy Head Adventurous Activities from 1 September 2012 whilst the current NCATD, Paul Parkinson assumes the role of Deputy Head Academic (e-learning and VET) from 1 December 2012.
