Their Service Our Heritage
Uniform Badge Placement
With ANZAC Day this weekend, lots of members will be taking part in activities to earn the 'Their Service Our Heritage' badge. There has been a lot of confusion about where to place the badge on the uniform.
The correct advice is: "The badge is to be worn on the right sleeve as a specialist badge." This is consistent across all youth Sections and for the Leader uniform.
The confusion has arisen because the April 2008 edition of the Scout Section Record Book stated that "the badge is to be worn above and to the left of the Australian flag". This is INCORRECT and has been updated in the most recent edition of the Scout Record Book (March 2009).
Enjoy your ANZAC Day weekend. Lest We Forget.
