Appointment of New National Coordinators
Scouts Australia is pleased to announce that the Chief Commissioner of Scouts Australia, Reg Williams RFD, has made appointments to two key International Scouting roles. They are as follows:
Their three year appointments took effect from 1 February 2013, following the expiration of terms of Bob Bristow and Kelly Johnson respectively.
These selections follow assessments against the selection criteria for each position by an independent panel. Assessments are based purely on merit.
Sam Adcock is currently the Branch Activities Leader with the WA Branch in the communications and technology team. Previously he was the Branch Commissioner for Radio Activities in the SA Branch. Sam has been organizing both large scale JOTA/JOTI stations and small JOTA sites since 1997.
Mehru Roshan is a Cub leader with the 2nd Panania Scout Group of NSW. In a professional capacity, Mehru has been responsible in the past for managing large teams internationally, with a reputation for strong liaison skills and being an effective Team Leader. Mehru was a Scout in Bangalore, India, the site of the 2010 APR Leaders' conference.
Scouts Australia congratulates both Sam and Mehru on their appointments and welcomes them to the International Team. We thank all applicants for their interest in these roles.
