National Youth Council Applications Open! Apply NOW!
Applications are now being sought for membership of the Scouts Australia National Youth Council, or NYC.
If you are successful, you will have the opportunity to work with Scouts, Venturers and Rovers from across Australia in developing ideas and recommendation papers for the improvement of Scouting nationally.
Your appointment will begin in March 2013, and last for up to three years. We will fund you to travel twice a year to meet with the rest of the Council and the National Team, for training and discussions. You will work in patrols and meet online throughout the rest of the year.
You need to be a Scout aged 13 or older, a Venturer, Rover, or Young Leader aged up to 23 to apply.
Applications close at midnight Friday 2nd November 2012. You will need to download all the information needed to complete the application by clicking here.
Check out www.facebook.com/scoutsNYC to read more about the work of the National Youth Council.
Questions? Contact Chris Neilsen (Chair) on nyc.chair@scouts.com.au or Steve Tyas (Adviser) on nyc.adviser@scouts.com.au.
Best of luck!
