13th World Scout Moot (26 July - 7 Aug 2010)
Aussie Rovers aged 18-25 are invited to join the Australian Contingent to the 13th World Scout Moot in Kenya. This is the first World Moot that has been held since Taiwan in 2004... and the first ever to be held in Africa!
World Scout $ Day (1 August 2010)
1 August 2010 is World Scout Day. We are asking every member of Scouts Australia to donate at least $1 by this date which will go towards Food for Life, a Scouting program in Africa which teaches Scouts to grow their own food sustainably. Help us raise over $66,000!
United Nations International Year of Youth (August 2010 - August 2011)
Focusing on the theme of 'Dialogue and Mutual Understanding', IYY is a celebration of and for young people!! IYY also provides international agencies with opportunities to demonstrate their commitment to tackling youth issues and involving youth in decision-making.
The Great Northern Clean Up (11-12 September 2010)
The Great Northern Clean Up provides an opportunity for communities within the northern parts of Australia to participate in Clean Up Australia Day at a time more suitable to their climate. Check out the TV ad and register now, or join an existing Clean Up!
Landcare Week (6-13 September 2010)
It's so easy to get involved in Landcare Week! Simply register an activity with your local Landcare Group... or if you're not part of a Landcare Group, you can register online to become a citizen scientist instead!! (Or, of course, you can do both!!!)
Clean Up The World (17-19 September 2010)
The World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) is an official ally of the Clean Up The World campaign, and Scouts Australia is encouraging all Aussie Groups to register to take part! The theme for 2010 is "Communities Caring For Nature".
JOTA-JOTI (17-19 October 2010)
It's Scouting's biggest national event! Over half a million Scouts and Guides from around the world will participate in the 53rd Jamboree On The Air, and 14th Jamboree on the Internet. This year's theme is "The Right To Be Heard". Find out how to get involved!
National Water Week (17-23 October 2010)

In 2010 Scouts Australia will once again assist in raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities on McHappy Day to help seriously ill children and their families enjoy a better quality of life. Who would've thought helping people could be this much fun?
AdventureJam - 19th New Zealand Jamboree (29 Dec 2010 - 6 Jan 2011)
The official Australian Contingent to Adventure Jam, the 19th New Zealand Scout Jamboree, will head to Mystery Creek near Hamilton in New Zealand for the most exciting adventure of their lives!
OZ Moot 2011 (30 Dec 2010 - 11 Jan 2011)
Experience adventure, experience Adelaide, experience OZ Moot! Expeditions have now been announced and are available for selection... the only problem you'll have is choosing which expedition to attend. The OzMoot website also has a stylish new look - check it out!
22nd World Scout Jamboree (27 July - 7 August 2011)
Once every four years, Scouts aged between 14 and 17 years old from around the world gather for two weeks of activities and adventure. Scouts Australia is sending an official Contingent to the 22nd World Scout Jamboree in Sweden in 2011... it's Simply Scouting!
Wild Dayz - 15th Australian Venture (3-14 January 2012)
The next Australian Venture, Wild Dayz, will be held in Launceston, Tasmania. Venturers from around Australia and the world will get to enjoy the best Tasmania has to offer, meet new people, and try a huge array of challenging expeditions and awesome onsite activities!
AJ2013 - The 23rd Australian Jamboree (2-12 January 2013)
Planning for the next Australian Jamboree is already under way! Scouts will be able to 'Dream It, Live It' at Maryborough, Queensland, in January 2013. Keep an eye on the official website for updates as they become available!
